Freezing Prostate Cancer

Cryosurgery to treat prostate cancer was developed more than 30 years ago and it has gone through several changes in methodology. This treatment cools the prostate to to a temperature cold enough to kill prostate cells. Important questions addressed include:

  • How good is this therapy compared to other options?
  • Who is a good candidate for cryosurgery and what are the risks and benefits?
  • Is it as good as surgery or radiation?

This video will answer these questions and provide other useful information so you can decide if it is right for you. (Reveiwed May, 2012)
